Larimar Suite Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. Its a very nice hotel with spacious rooms, great for families. Has a pool. Nice open green areas, a playground for kids. Wifi is ok, not as fast but will do. Simple open buffet style breakfast. If you haven't paid for dinner service, i found its expensive so we didn't opt in. There are a few downsides. Please keep in mind when booking. 1. Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days 2. There are no pool towels, they ask you to bring your own or use you room ones. Which we found quite odd. 3. There is no room service. 4. In the deluxe room there is only 1 aircon in the main living area and not in bedrooms. It's ok but would prefer aircons in the rooms as well as during summer it can be quite stuffy. 5. Bring your mosquito repellent. 6. There is a kitchen but no cooking or eating utensils in the drawers, only a kettle and bar fridge. (Again can't bring in outside food, however we did do a little shop and stocked up on essential items Such as milk isn't provided either. BYO water or pay 20 lira per bottle. 7. There's no clothes cleaning service. We found one down the road called Wishy Washy Laundry, they pick up and drop off to the hotel. Very convenient and cheap! 8. Coffee is only free once upon arrival in your rooms in those little sachets you only receive 2 packets. The rest of the coffee and tea you will need to purchase as tea isn't provided either. 9. There is no phone in the room. All communications is done via whatsap. 10. There is no room service. At night after the kids go down to sleep, it's impossible to go to the eating area to eat as you can't leave your kids unattended. My partner brought room supplies and some food to eat and were told off by the staff which is quiet rude.

We only stayed one night at Larimar before starting the Lycian Way but we were amazed by the great service and nice people. The rooms are basic but nice; however the breakfast is one of the best breakfast we've had in our whole Turkey trip. In addition, they were super helpful, especially OJ helped us a lot, by arranging the transport of our luggage while we were hiking for a week. The pool is also nice. Can definitely recommend!
